Greentree Ants

In collaboration with Townsville City Council, Zingspace helped develop the Greentree Ants program which is being used in Townsville primary schools as part of the Greening Townsville program to educate children on the biodiversity, plants and habitats in the local Townsville region. Activities related to the programme include, in-class and field trip lessons covering an introduction to trees, relationships and interactions within local environments; using structure and form to identify local plants and trees; schoolground garden tours; bush tucker trail; school ground soil surveying and school tree plantings.
